On the date of February 17, 2017, there was a terrorist attack in a shrine in Islamabad, Pakistan. News sources reported at least 70 to 100 killed. The number grows as more information comes in. The Telegraph sends out an article titled “Pakistan says it has killed 100 ‘terrorists’ after suicide shrine attack”, the article explains “suicide bombing that killed more than 80 worshippers at a Sufi shrine”. SALMAN MASOOD writes an article on The New York Times titled “Pakistan Shrine Bombing Kills Scores in Worst Attack in Months”. Masood explains “killing at least 70 people and wounding more than 250 in the worst act of terrorism to hit Pakistan in months“. CNN article titled “At least 75 killed in suicide attack at Pakistani shrine” explains “At least 75 people were killed in a suicide attack”.
This is surely one of the worst terrorist attacks to hit Pakistan alongside with the attack on a school in Peshawar, Pakistan which took place in 2014. DANIYAL HASSAN and SALMAN MASOOD write an article on The New York Times titled “Suicide Bomber Kills 13 at Protest in Lahore, Pakistan” Where they explain “At least 13 people were killed, including six police officers, by a suicide bomber on Monday during a protest by hundreds of pharmacists in downtown Lahore, in eastern Pakistan, officials said. The attack wounded 108 people, 13 of them critically”. This shows that Pakistan is an obvious target of terrorist organizations, mainly ISIS and Taliban. The article also explains “Pakistani Taliban, Jamaat-ul-Ahrar, claimed responsibility for the attack and warned the government of more strikes to come”.
Which brings up the question, If they were trying to hurt the government, why would they attack a protest organized to protest a law passed by the government? It is obvious they are not doing what they do for any sort of faith, it has become obvious that remains an excuse. It is obvious that the only purpose for them to kill innocent citizens is to gain power. Since most of the victims of terrorist attacks are Muslim countries, ISIS and other terrorist groups claiming to be Islamic can be considered anti-Islamic for their actions which do go against the Quran. “There is no compulsion in religion. The right way has become distinct from error.” (2:256). “And do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness.” (5:8). “whoso kills a soul, unless it be for murder or for wreaking corruption in the land, it shall be as if he had killed all mankind; and he who saves a life, it shall be as if he had given life to all mankind” (5:53). “and do not kill a soul that God has made sacrosanct, save lawfully” (6:151).
And lets get to Donald Trump. Trump messes up and makes a claim that Sweden was hit by terrorist attacks, of course created by his own imagination. Despite the fact that he is now the president of the United States, and should have knowledge on the matter, he fails to take information correctly. Here, Watch this video on The Guardian. In an article for The Guardian titled ” ‘Sweden, who would believe this?’: Trump cites non-existent terror attack” by Alexandra Topping, Topping explains how Trump mentioned Sweden even though a terrorist attack never took place. Trump states “We’ve got to keep our country safe. You look at what’s happening in Germany, you look at what’s happening last night in Sweden. Sweden, who would believe this? Sweden. They took in large numbers. They’re having problems like they never thought possible. You look at what’s happening in Brussels. You look at what’s happening all over the world. Take a look at Nice. Take a look at Paris”. Even though here was no terrorist attack on Sweden. It is very concerning that the president of the USA fails to take in the information correctly. And it is also interesting that Trump mentioned an attack that never happened but did not mention even one of the two very serious attacks which took place in Pakistan.
UPDATE : February 21, 2017
My statement as to what’s happening in Sweden was in reference to a story that was broadcast on @FoxNews concerning immigrants & Sweden.

After reading this tweet by Mr. Trump, I decided to search Fox News for any story related to any terrorist attack in Sweden, and I found nothing. A noticeable majority of the articles or “news” related to Sweden were related to immigration in Sweden. I could not find anything related to a terrorist attack under the search for “Sweden”. And that was despite the fact that Fox News is not a credible news source.
The Following sources explain how much fact vs lie Fox News really is
